I won’t be able to attend the upcoming event. Will there be more events?
Yes. We plan to hold this event several times a year. The best thing to do is to apply now and indicate your availability, so that we can notify you of next events.
What would I take away from this event that I can’t learn at my current employer?
This event has two unique components:
Personal coaching
You will receive intensive coaching and personal feedback from professional coaches who are counselors to executives and McKinsey consultants. You will learn more about your strengths and weaknesses in a short period of time and get insights on how to develop yourself further.
Skill building
Through intensive support you will improve personal skills that are useful in many contexts, for example, personal impact, teamcoaching and (McKinsey-style) problem solving.
What does the program comprise?
The program is a mix of training components, real-life business cases, and sufficient recreational time to get to know your fellow participants. You will learn a lot, meet interesting people and get acquainted with McKinsey. With support from the best coaches, you will develop skills that you can apply in your current position. Together with other professionals in the industry, you will tackle a real business challenge for a social entrepreneur.
Do I have to prepare for the program?
Preparation is limited: reserve one hour to read the background material.
What is the procedure if I want to apply to McKinsey after the event?
The program is set up for you to learn new things and get to know McKinsey. If you want to apply, you will follow the same procedure as all other applicants.
What happens after the event? What is expected of me?
McKinsey will probably contact you shortly after the event. But it’s up to you to decide whether or not you want to have any further contact with us.
Is the program in English or in Dutch?
Both: the training is mostly in English, the cases mostly in Dutch.
